Scared

I'm scared okay?
Scared I might lose my friends.
Scared I might be alone.
I can't be alone, I can't be isolated.
I just need someone to stay by my side,
To tell me that everything will be okay.
To give me a hug when I need one the most.
I can be strong but like every hero we all have our weaknesses.
So please, just stay by my side and hold my hand.

Rejection

It's never fun to go through but, we all go through it, it's bound to happen at some point. I don't really want a relationship, but the thought of having a companion is something I've been aiming for, my definition for companionship is different then a relationship. It's more of a developed friendship if anything. I tend to develop feelings with certain people and everytime I try to develop the friendship into something more, I'm always shot down. It has become harder becuase I'm not given a straight no, but just an excuse. An excuse being, "Oh I'm not looking for a relationship," [Only to find out later that day they posted on Facebook, "No one ever wants to date me"]. Are we or are we not human?  I'm starting to think that we are far from humans. We have become monsters with our own agendas. We believe that what we think is right and what others think is wrong. Why is that? Why can't we just love one another instead of hating each other.
